Like to play Assassin's Creed and all that... but when it comes down to it you can't really have a game with a shitty story. It kind of reminds me about playing game boy advanced, so a point there for the nostalgia feel:)Rebecca Andersonhttp://rebeccadailyblog.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2016535740516105777.post-71721997889663177302013-04-18T15:10:42.638+01:002013-04-18T15:10:42.638+01:00It is a shame that more games are not developed wi...It is a shame that more games are not developed with open configuration in mind. It is good practice to program a game with a 'controller object' that acts as an interface between the player and game rather than hard-code movements and button presses - that way you can easily add in the ability to configure controls later down the line, allowing user-selectable inputs in one place in the code. Sadly many commercial PC games (indie/non-indie) are designed with consoles in mind first and foremost, so this is ignored - and to add user-definable controls later becomes extremely difficult. When asking the devs to implement it into a patch on their forums, they responded with a "use Joy2key". Having paid $14.99 for it only to get no support in that area was a bit off... High configurability is the mainstay of PC software. I'm a hardcore keyboard gamer, but that's more just the way I've always been, it's definitely not the ideal way to play KRUNCH or similar titles. As for the lack of fullscreen support, I agree with you on that as well -- it would have been nice to see. I suppose I didn't notice the surrounding window much when I was so focused on not becoming mincemeat :)Peter Redmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03632470805326611341noreply@blogger.com
